Creating Scarves for Those in Need

Join us for a creative and meaningful day of knitting and crochet as we make warm scarves for people experiencing homelessness during the cold winter months. Bring your favorite pattern and choose any color or style—the possibilities are yours! Please use acrylic or cotton yarn, as these materials are suitable for anyone who may receive a scarf. We’ll also have plenty of yarn available, so you can bring your own or use what we provide. We’ll spend the day creating, connecting, and giving back. If you’ve already made a few scarves, we’d love for you to bring them along and add them to our collection!

Offering: $75, includes lunch

Beth Malley

Beth Malley, co-curator of the Monastery Gallery of Art, is also a certified Zentangle teacher dedicated to nurturing others’ artistic and creative gifts. Additionally, she serves as a docent at the Wadsworth Atheneum and hosts the Prayer Shawl Ministry at Holy Family.
