Themed Retreats

Each of our themed retreats begins with a buffet dinner from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. on Friday evening and concludes Sunday with the celebration of Mass at 10:45 a.m., followed by a hot brunch at noon. Families of retreatants are most welcome to attend the Sunday Mass and brunch at no extra charge.

2026-27 Theme: With One Heart

Peace, unity, and harmony are all things we desire in our lives, especially as we experience division in society, the Church, and our relationships. Our retreat theme for this season, With One Heart, will explore how our Christian faith calls us to resist division and to live as one in the love of God.

The biblical image of being “of one heart” expresses a deep sense of harmony, shared purpose, and mutual belonging. It points to a way of life in which we move beyond our differences and seek the common good as members of one community.

Pope Leo’s motto, "In Illo uno unum," reminds us that “In the One, we are one.” The hard reality is that fostering unity takes time and active work. It is easier to tear something down than to build it up. Focusing on what unites us opens doors for relationship-building, deep listening, and understanding—the very mandate Jesus gave us to “love one another.”

Through prayer, reflection, and dialogue, our retreat this season will guide us to live more fully With One Heart, uniting us to God and one another.
