An Ignatian Adventure
Retreat for Deacons
October 9-11, 2026
Extra Day - October 8, 2026
Fr. John Predmore, S.J.
Ignatian prayer is based on developing a friendship with God, with conversation as the heart of prayer. This type of prayer is needed to active, ongoing discernment in daily life and to acknowledge God’s abiding presence within our lives. We begin with prayerful postering as we allow ourselves to receive God’s gaze upon us, and then we listen through imaginative prayer and engagement with the senses. We pray for particular graces as we develop our relational prayer practices. The goal of Ignatian prayer is to see and love the world the way God loves and sees the world
This retreat begins with dinner Friday evening at 6:00 p.m. and concludes with Mass and brunch on Sunday morning. You’re also invited to arrive Thursday morning for an extra day that includes lunch and dinner.
Offering: $500 for assigned Deacons,
$375 for retired Deacons,
$125 for extra day (arrive Thursday morning, includes lunch and dinner)
