Fr. Paul Luniw
Ukrainian Easter eggs, widely known as pysanky (singular: pysanka), are intricately decorated eggs created using an ancient wax-resist (batik) method. Rooted in pre-Christian Slavic folklore, they were historically believed to hold mystical powers of protection, fertility, and renewal. Today, they remain a profound symbol of Ukrainian cultural heritage and Easter celebrations. Fr. Paul shows you how to make your egg creative and truly yours!
