In Memory of Helen Pasler

Helen Pasler (Pardus) 95, beloved wife of the late Frederick Pasler Sr. was gently led by the Angels home to her heavenly father on Friday, October 3, 2025, in Avon. Born in Torrington, CT September 30, 1930, daughter of the late Rose and John Pardus, predeceased by her loving husband Frederick Pasler Sr., her sister Margaret Carroll of Ludlow, VT, brother John Pardus of Canton, CT, and her son Gary Pasler. Helen lived most of her life in Unionville where she had many friends and family. Helen loved to be busy with many things in her life, she never turned down spending time with family and her grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she loved. From holidays to special celebrations, Helen cherished every moment spent with her family. She especially enjoyed weekends away in Otis, Massachusetts with her daughter Laure and her family. Helen enjoyed spending time with her loving friends we called “The Gang” who enjoyed many Saturday nights after church having dinner at George’s then playing cards. Being involved in her church was a blessing to Helen. A long-time member of St Mary’s Star of the Sea church in Unionville, she was involved in many ministries and held those commitments deep in her heart. Serving as a Eucharistic minister for many years, President of both the Women’s Guild and The Legion of Mary. It was a joy for her to visit many who were home bound, bringing communion to them and just being there to pray and provide comfort and peace. A heart of gold, always willing to go above and beyond for family and friends.
She leaves her children, son Fred Pasler and Sue of New Hampshire, daughter Debbie Michaud and Carl of Unionville, daughter Laure Welch and Brad of Marlborough and son Jeffrey Pasler of New Britain. 7 grandchildren Fred, Mindy, Drew, Ryan, Katelyn, Courtney and Christina, as well as, 9 great grandchildren, Freddie and Kaylie, Caden, Christian and Sophia, Dominic, Hunter, Charlotte, and Oakley. The family would like to thank Avon Health Center for the endless care that was given to Helen. While many were present for her the angels Arlene, Rachel, Melissa, Kenya and Kim were endless with their love, care and compassion.
